Does making it into flour eliminate the need to soak? Or could you soak, dry, toast and then blend of you wanted to get rid of phytate? Is this even necessary? Thanks!
I did this but it took me forever to blend it fine enough.
I used this to make masa for pupusas. They came out excellent. Thanks!
What about rinsing it first then putting it in the oven to dry then toast? that skips the skillet step.

Please show how to make quinoa flakes
Hello. Looks so simple. How would you make pasta noodles out of this, please. Is it just quinoa and water, or do you suggest adding other ingredients. Also, I tried making quinoa flat breads and it turned out bitter tasting. Not sure why that was. I had soaked quinoa in water then turned into a dough and used the frying pan like making pancake.
If you blend it while it is still warm, does not that increase the risk of the fats in the Quinoa causing it to get lumpy?
If you blend it with a coffee grinder you don't have to go through all these steps

I know when cooking quinoa it's very important to wash it very well. When I do this, I notice it releases saponins which removes the bitterness taste. Of course for flour, we're not, is this bad in any way?
Thanks. Continuing my good health journey 🥰
Thanks! I have a lot of quinoa left. I hate the gritty, nutty flavor. It was suggested I use it in baking like muffins, pancakes, and bread. I didn't know how to make flour. Question: Can I toast using an oven or toaster oven?
Thank you so much for sharing!!
Can you use a food processor instead of a blender and if not what about a coffee grinder? I only have a small blender for making smoothies which would not work for doing this.
Just starting to work on gluten free recipes. LOVE your necklace by the way!!!
Toast it is a very useful idea to dry quinoa after rinse. Also to use the common blender instead of the little made specifically for seeds that made me spend lots of time and energy. Now it's much easier, thank you. 🙂
You in your other video said to Rinse the quoina ,then is it ok to grind it without Rinsing it ? Will the flour not taste bitter ?? Please reply
